Spring 2021 (April-May)
APRIL
We love looking at how Blake ends up sleeping. He is always in such cute positions. Tonight he decided to go to bed with his firetruck and he is cuddle the hard, uncomfortable firetruck. So funny!

The Christmas train stayed at Valley West Mall and became the Easter train so we brought our boys back! They loved it again!

Blake is just the cutest 2 year old. He is so sweet and has the best smile and laugh. We just love him so much.
We decorated Easter eggs! The boys had fun! It was a little stressful at times but better than years before. The boys were very proud of their eggs they colored.
We had Easter on Saturday with the Youngs. Grandma put together the Easter egg hunt for the kids and they loved it.
Easter morning the Easter bunny came! The boys were so excited to find their baskets. Then we went to church with Nana and Papa (which was chaos). It is impossible to get 2 young boys to sit still and be quiet for an hour.

I am 24 weeks! I feel so much bigger already by this point. I am not sure how I am going to make it until July. I am going to be huge! I feel pretty good and this is my favorite time of pregnancy. We had our follow up ultrasound and baby is doing well! The heart all looks good and the placenta has moved a little but they are going to do another ultrasound closer to birth to make sure it is completely out of the way.
Our boys still love dancing to the movies and it is just the cutest thing!
If you ask Blake what his name is he says "Blakey boy" and we just love hearing him say it! We always call him Blakey boy too so I am not surprised that is what he thinks his name is.
The boys got Lightening McQueen coloring changing cars for Easter and they love watching them change colors. I did not know how many times we need to refill the buckets with warm or cold water though!
Grant is in soccer with a few buddies from daycare and it is so fun to watch! They are more into playing than the actual game. As long as they are getting out and moving around we are fine with it and just love watching what they do during the games. It is quite entertaining!
We tried to potty train Blake before the baby got here but we were unsuccessful. He is a master at holding his pee and will go all day without going until we put the pullup on for nap or bedtime. Plus, so many kids regress after a new baby is born so we will just try again once the baby is here!
We go for walks at the development across the street from our development. They are putting in some 55+ homes there but no one is there yet so it is a great place for a walk. They have some construction equipment around and Grant loves this green tractor/front loader. The time is bigger than him!

Blake is getting so good at biking and pedaling! Of course Grant has to come give me a hug and kiss since Blake is getting all the attention and praise! They are battling for Mom's attention. I will take it as long as it lasts!
The boys love the construction hats and toys. They will go around and find things to fix for us in the basement!
Oh, boys! They are always wrestling! They had to just be born this way because we definitely did not teach them this!
Grant (and usually Blake) love to watch the garbage truck come by on Fridays. As you can see, it can be a little loud and scary!
I love my Blakey cuddles!
Greg went on a fishing trip with Grandpa and his Uncle's to Lake Erie. This was a place Greg's dad has always wanted to go so I am happy they were able to go! Greg had a great time and was glad he was able to spend this time with his dad.
The boys wanted to mow the lawn with Daddy! Grant was able to use the play mower but it was hard for Blake to use. He was so sad he couldn't keep up with Dad and Grant! It was cute to watch them follow Daddy around.
MAY
Grant finished up his season of soccer with his friends from daycare. They had more fun together than they did playing actual soccer but it got them out of the house and running around for an hour. I'll take it!
We've had some beautiful mornings! It is pretty sunny on our deck but I love getting outside in the morning.
Grant would rather pee outside than go all the way inside. Thankfully we have those rocks so it doesn't kill all our grass!

Grant went to a birthday party at pump it up and Grant had a blast with his friend Tyler! Tyler has been his best friend from the beginning!
oh boys being boys!
We got another ultrasound to make sure the placenta had fully moved and it has! We also got another look at baby girl! She is definitely smooshed in there!

Grant got some new shoes and they are fast! He had to try them out right when he got home and couldn't wait to show Daddy and Blake how fast he was.
I took the boys to the zoo and Blake was sooo excited! This is probably my favorite video of him ever. I just love their genuine excitement at this age. Blake was definitely more into the zoo than Grant was but Blake's excitement made it for me.

Leslie hosted a baby sprinkle for me and it was so fun! I got some cute girl clothes and it was fun to get together with all my friends!
We got the ipad out for the boys to play on and we are going to give the boys an amazon tablet as their present from baby. It will keep them busy while I am spending my whole day nursing!
We went to a delayed covid wedding and it was fun to get out! It was pouring when we were walking into the wedding so we were wet but it was fun to see our friends!

Blake is just so sweet! He watched me shoot the ball and when I missed he was so positive and sweet. "Oh so close Mommy!" I don't know where this sweet boy came from!
We got a swimming pool for the boys this summer. Grant liked it but Blake didn't like the cold water. It takes a lot of water to fill it up. It was hot! Blake jerked and then fell over and I took him inside and found out he had an 103 fever! I don't know what that jerk was about but that is the same thing he did at daycare a year or so ago.
We took one last trip to Honey Creek Resort with Greg's family. The boys had fun fishing with Grandpa and swimming in the water park. The weather wasn't the best but it was fun to get away with Greg's whole family and spend time together.
The bump is BIG! I do not know how I can get much bigger the next 2 months. Baby girl is low too. She is hurting my back and giving me back pain which I didn't have with the boys.
