Fourth Month of Blake
December 15th-January 15th
Grant loves being silly these days! Here we are getting ready for Blakes 3 month photos coming up and he grabbed these Winnie the Pooh shorts and put them on his head!

Blake is finally big enough to try out the jumperoo. He loved it and I can't believe he is this big already!
We are still nursing and I love when Blake grabs my hand. I love these moments!
Blake is supporting Creighton with his onsie!

Grant and Mom cheesin' together.

Uncle mit came over to play! Here he is reading a book to Grant.

A few pictures of Blake and Mom cuddling. Still lots of naps on Mom!
Here is a cute video of Grant asking to go to time out. Silly boy!
Grant learned how to say "hawkeye" so, of course, we had to send a video to Uncle Mit.
Grant had a blast making Christmas cookies with Grant!
Santa's Last Night at Des Moines Golf was too late for Grant so Blake and I got to go alone and see Santa!

The boys made out like bandits at the Chalik Christmas. We do the Chalik Christmas celebration Christmas Eve morning.
The boys got a few more presents from the aunts at Aunt Randi's house after church Christmas Eve.
We we exhausted by Christmas morning but we enjoyed opening a few more presents from Santa!
We had to get the boys dressed up for the Young side of the family Christmas!

Blake took naps most of the time we were opening presents but we got a cute picture with cousin Chloe and Grant loved even more presents!
Grant loves playing with his Thomas the train. Dad is obviously exhausted from all the Christmas activities and lack of sleep.
Blake is having more smiles and starting to try and roll over. It won't be long!
Grant sat on the potty for the first time this month! We are so proud and excited to be (hopefully) done with diapers soon!
We celebrated Blake's baptism at the end of December. It was an eventful day, thats an understatement! We pooped through his baptismal outfit and had the worst blowout we have ever seen. Luckily I had packed another outfit just in case. Kids always seem to poop when they are all dressed up! Blake was super fussy the whole evening making it stressful for Greg and I! It was hard to host an event, deal with an extremely fussy baby and take care of Grant!
Moments like this make parenting worth it. This is Grant and Blake holding hands.

We went over to my friend Steph's house and met Lucy! Lucy is about a month and a half younger than Blake. It was fun to get them together and see Steph as a first time mom!
Blake is starting to motorboat and it is the cutest thing ever!
We got some snow so Grant had fun playing in the snow, sledding in our backyard and helping mom shovel!
It is hard to keep a 2 year old entertained in the middle of winter with no where to go. We brought it some snow and added some ice. It kept him entertained for a solid 5 minutes or so!
Grant singing Baby Shark! Our new favorite song of the moment.
Blake went to daycare this month and got RSV within the first week there! He also has his first ear infection. I am very nervous about his RSV because that can be very serious in little babies. We had to postpone his immunizations until he was feeling better. Greg got RSV from Blake and he has been very sick also. He had 103 fevers for about 12 days. Greg is the reason we found out what Blake had. Greg had to go to the doctor multiple times and finally asked the doctor to do the test to see what he had and it came back positive for RSV. Greg is on the mend and hoping Blake is soon too! His measurements at the doctor looked good though. Height is 66%, weight is 33% and head circumference is 61%. Blake still isn't sleeping through the night which is rough for Mom and Dad. Hoping that improves next month!
