5th Month of Blake

Jan 15-Feb 14

We are all still sleeping all the time over here!  Blake's favorite places to nap are on Mom and Dad.  We fall asleep with him often too!  Grant has even been seen to nap throughout us shopping as Costco.

But we are still smiling through the exhaustion! (Some more than others ;-D)

I was so worried when Blake was born I would "lose" Grant as my best friend.  I am happy to say he still loves his Mom just as much.  We love to be goofy, silly and cuddle on the couch.

Blake started holding is bottle when Daddy is feeding him.  He is getting so independent already. :)

Blake has been able to sit up in his bumbo and he loves being able to see what is going on.  He has been interacting with his toys more which is fun to watch!

We gave Blake cereal for the first time this month and he did not love it.  He spit it right back out but we will keep trying.

Grant has been "going on a bear hunt" at school and loves it!  His attention span doesn't last long enough for the whole song but it is so cute to watch!

Grant loves to help out his brother especially now that Blake is more interactive.

Grant still absolutely loves trains! It's fun to watch his enjoyment and excitement.

Grant is Blake's favorite person ever and the only one who can make him giggle!  We tried so hard to get Grant to make Blake giggle since Mom and Dad weren't funny enough. Grant is such a busy body we can't get him to pay attention long enough but Blake's eyes are always paying attention to his brother.  We hope they are best friends some day.

It was a big month for Blake and he started rolling over this month!!

He is even getting close to crawling!  Greg and I are not ready to be chasing around two boys all the time!

Blake got to meet his new friend, Milo!  Jackie had her baby in January and it was fun to meet Milo and see Jackie as a Mom!

Since we had the horrible blow out on Blake's baptism day, we had his outfit washed and wanted to get some pictures in it.  They aren't as good as they would have been that day but better than nothing!

Blake is doing better this month.  He seems to be happier which we are all thankful for.  He weighs about 16 pounds and still has blow outs daily.  I am sure daycare loves that. :)

Grant is on Hive Pack Hoops and it has been a frustrating season for the team. It was fun to watch Grant score a free throw though. He was so proud of himself!

I caught Claire playing in with the hot wheels cars while playing in her brother's Captain America mask. So cute!

I tried to make cinnamon sugar sourdough bread and it still didn't turn out like I thought. The kids still wouldn't eat it which was my goal. AND it was a lot of work. So fail on that part but hoping to try bagels next and I have heard they are easier and better.

Carson invited Blake to go to the pool with him and Blake had a blast (even if the picture doesn't show it!)

I caught a sweet video of Claire with Chase and Marshall kissing. She is so sweet.
