Third Month of Blake

November 15th, 2018 - December 14th, 2018

We have been trying to find things to keep busy body Grant entertained! It has been hard since its cold outside so we have spent a lot of time in our basement and at the play place in the mall. We even spent one of the negative degree morning at the pool at Greg's office.

Grant loves to color his favorite things, people and trains! Another way to keep him busy. :)

Blake has been smiling more and it has been so fun to see his sweet smile and cute dimple!

We celebrated Blake's first Thanksgiving at the Sterns house.  Grant did not want to cooperate for a picture so this is the best we got!

Most of the time Grant will not let us watch anything but his shows.  One afternoon we got him to watch Harry Potter with us for a few minutes and had to catch it on video!

We went to Valley West Mall to visit Santa and ride the train.  Santa was cool but riding the train was, of course, Grant's favorite part.  Surprisingly, Blake didn't mind Santa holding him at all.

We took Grant to the Santa Express!  He LOVES trains and the movie Polar Express  or just "Polar" as Grant says so we thought this would be super fun for him.  We were also excited to get some alone time with Grant.  It was snowing on the way up there so it made the drive a little slick but we made it!  The snow made the ride a little more magical just like the real Polar Express.

This was the first year Grant was able to "help" us put the ornaments on the tree! It was fun to finally be able to do this.

Blake starting to babble more and it is so fun to hear his voice!

Greg and I are amazed he is reaching for the toys above his head on the piano.  He is becoming more aware and it is fun to watch.

It is fun to see Greg with Blake and being a great Dad!

Grant and I being silly together!

Blake randomly started giggling.  It was SO cute!  I am so glad I was able to get it on video.

We are still having quite a bit of sleep problems with Blake.  I even got the crazy looking Magic Merlin Suit out of desperation.  Sadly, it didn't help.  Lots of snuggles on Mom so Blake could get some sleep but not much sleep for Mom and Dad.

Blake loves his brother and is always looking for him while Grant will just tolerate him.  ;-)

Nana loves Minions and got Grant these Minion glasses and he loves them!

The boys love their Papa!

Santa came to visit at daycare!  Grant was excited even though he doesn't seem that way in this picture.

We got Blake's 3 month pictures taken.  I am always hesitant while we are taking them.  I don't think they are going to turn out and then I get the pictures and they are great!

Blake was 14lbs 1 ounce at the end of this month!  We are hoping for some more sleep again next month but love this sweet boy!

Grant is on Hive Pack Hoops and it has been a frustrating season for the team. It was fun to watch Grant score a free throw though. He was so proud of himself!

I caught Claire playing in with the hot wheels cars while playing in her brother's Captain America mask. So cute!

I tried to make cinnamon sugar sourdough bread and it still didn't turn out like I thought. The kids still wouldn't eat it which was my goal. AND it was a lot of work. So fail on that part but hoping to try bagels next and I have heard they are easier and better.

Carson invited Blake to go to the pool with him and Blake had a blast (even if the picture doesn't show it!)
