7th Month of Blake

March 15th-April 14th, 2019

We went out to dinner for Kellie's birthday and Blake cuddled up to Grandpa!

Grant had some ice cream at Dairy Queen and loved it!  Nana and Papa also gave him some to have at home.  He is one spoiled little boy.

I caught this super cute moment of Grant "reading" to Blake.  Blake absolutely LOVES his brother.  He is always looking for attention from Grant.  Blake was in heaven right now.

I got Grant some shaving cream for something to do.  He loved it and put it all over himself.  It is funny to see the progression through this pictures of shaving cream going everywhere.  He went straight into the shower after these pictures were taken but it looks like he had fun and the mess was worth it!

Grant loves playing with ice and it keeps him busy for longer than just a few minutes!

It is getting warmer outside so we bundled up and got some fresh air. 

We took the boys to the Sacred Heart fish fry and luckily they had a few things to keep Grant busy because he was restless after awhile.

Grant was excited to have Blake in the shopping cart with him.  Blake still leans over a little but he was happy to be next to him brother.

Greg and I got to get away and have a rare date night.  We had to capture Greg and I in something other than sweats with our boys!

Blake has been blowing bubbles and loving him Mom lately!

Blake is getting so big and sitting in the stroller like a big boy these days!

Blake is still breastfeeding and it is a lot of work.  I feel like I need to continue because he has been so sick but it is very hard.

Greg and I got to get away and go to Florida for a few days.  It was nice to be able to sleep in.  I got a few clogged ducts and it was not fun trying to pump in amusement parks but it was worth it to get away for a few days. And we got to see Harry Potter World again! We, of course, took all the pictures and videos of trains to show Grant and he loved them.  We send the train video to Nana and Papa and they said Grant watched that video on repeat.

We caught a cute moment of Grant hugging Blakey! We had to get out of the house and didn't want to cook so we took them to Hy-Vee.  It is quick and it wasn't busy when we come and make a scene with two little crazy boys. We also got another hug and Nana and Papa's house.  He obeys our requests every once in a while at least.

Blake is still causing us issues and lack of sleep but he is cute so we will keep him.

We got the potty out and are getting Grant ready to be potty trained.  We would love to have him out of diapers! He wants to wear big boy underwear and will got potty on the toilet if we ask him so I think he is getting close.

Blake is army crawling!  We are definitely not ready for this!!!

Greg took Grant to Auntie Kellie's house and they went outside and rode around his cousins 4-wheeler. 

We dyed Easter eggs!  Grant dyed the eggs and Blake was just being a cute observer  It was definitely stressful with a 6 month old and 2 year old but I think Grant had fun and that is all that matters.

Seriously, these kisses are my favorite. I think I say that about too many things but I love these open mouth kisses! I love you, sweet boy.

It is just to funny how Blake will giggle for Grant more than anyone else.  Greg and I try but then we just have Grant do it so we can hear Blake's great giggles and laugh.

Blake is 7 months!  We got some things checked off our list and his murmur is gone so they said the holes in his heart are gone and he doesn't have to go back until 3!  Wahoo!  He is working on sitting up but still falls over because of that big belly. He is 19.5 lbs but still gets up in the night to eat so we are still tired. He started to army crawl this month so he is on the move.  He has to keep up with him brother who he absolutely loves and is his favorite person ever!.  We love his dimple, smiles and giggles.
